Wake up each morning before Christmas with a new matcha to try! With the Matcha Advent Calendar, you can get into the holiday spirit with amazing matcha tea from all over Japan. Each tea will come with a short poem for you to ponder while you drink your tea. This is the perfect gift for family members and friends and a great thing to share with your loved ones this holiday season!
What is the matcha advent calendar?
The matcha advent calendar is a great way to learn about matcha tea as you get into the mood for the holidays. To create this advent calendar, we selected 24 of our favorite matcha teas from different regions, farmers and tea varieties and wrote a short poem to explain each one. We then tucked them into small red envelopes so that you can keep them a surprise until December!
This is our first year with the matcha advent calendar, and after receiving so many requests, we are happy to finally be able to offer it. This year, we received our matcha advent calendars and loose leaf tea advent calendars ahead of schedule, so we will have them all sent out before the end of October. This will give you plenty of time to receive the advent calendars before December. They also make a great gift for all the November birthdays, and it can be fun to have someone to go through the matcha advent calendar with.
