Farmer: Miyazaki Sabou
In the cool highlands of Gokase, Miyazaki Sabou keeps the tradition of pan-fired kamairicha at the heart of its work. The family began pesticide-free cultivation in 1983 and gained organic JAS certification in 2001. Their curiosity also reaches into oolong and roasted teas, offering different ways to experience the leaves grown in these mountain gardens.

“It's important to thoroughly understand the conditions of each field, including sunlight, water drainage, and strength of wind, as they differ.”
